About The Position

The Banquet Captain will lead the setup and breakdown of banquet events with precision, ensuring clean linens, polished silverware, and chip-free china. This role involves coordinating the flow of service, guiding and motivating the banquet team to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and handling audio-visual setup and troubleshooting. Additionally, the Banquet Captain will assist with scheduling, training, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience—because happy guests are the heart of hospitality.
  • At least 6 months of banquet food service experience—we need someone who’s seen a plated dinner or two.
  • Leadership potential or experience—you're not afraid to guide a team and step in where needed.
  • Food and alcohol certifications (or willingness to complete in 90 days)—because safety is always in style.
  • Physical stamina—this role includes lifting, bending, walking, and standing during your entire shift.
