About The Position

North Point Hospitality was started in 1978 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. We build high-quality hotels in popular areas. Over the years, we’ve worked with big hotel companies like Hilton and Marriott to create these projects. So far, we’ve built 38 hotels from the ground up, investing over $600 million. Today, we own and manage 9 hotels in the Southeast, including 8 that are part of the Hilton and Marriott brands. We’re also working on 5 more hotels that are either being built or planned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous banquet or hotel food and beverage experience required

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary guest contact and on-site host throughout assigned events, maintaining direct communication with clients, meeting planners, and event organizers.
Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and communicate event details to service teams.
Lead banquet service teams during meetings, conferences, weddings, and social events.
Conduct pre-shift meetings and assign responsibilities to banquet staff.
Ensure banquet rooms are set according to event specifications and brand standards.
Coordinate service timing between banquet and culinary teams.
Anticipate guest needs and immediately resolve service concerns.
Monitor setup, service execution, and breakdown of events.
Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring banquet associates.
Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
Complete post-event recaps and communicate operational issues to management.
