About The Position

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum, Culinary Department is seeking a Banquet Bartender. This is an on-call, non-exempt position. The museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to documenting and interpreting the history of country music. The department is responsible for all private, internal, and external events, aiming to service guests professionally and exceed expectations. The ideal candidate will be part of a proactive, productive, and fast-paced team in a unique venue, contributing to the creation of successful events and providing quality service to a diverse range of guests.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must possess a ‘can do’ service attitude
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure an event’s success
  • Must be detail-oriented
  • Must have ability to handle multiple clients and events simultaneously
  • Be able to lift, shift, and move 50 pounds during the events
  • Understand and communicate effectively with the guests, teammates, and customers
  • Have desire to grow professionally in the hospitality business

Nice To Haves

  • Two years hotel banquet food and beverage, or event service experience preferred
  • TIPS trained to serve alcoholic beverages

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand orders to safely, efficiently, and promptly set up and break down events in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional service to our patrons as directed and instructed by the leadership
  • Complete other duties as assigned for effective time management and efficiency
  • Maintain personal hygiene and keep side stations in an orderly and sanitary manner
  • Provide friendly, professional guest service with enthusiasm and positive attitude
  • Be familiar with menu offerings in order to entice guests with its ingredients and preparations
  • Respond promptly, courteously and effectively to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
  • Ability to be respectful to fellow teammates and avoid conflicts
  • Ability to communicate any issues or concerns with department leaders
