About The Position

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing high-quality beverage service during private events, banquets, and Club functions. This role ensures efficient bar setup, execution, and breakdown while delivering exceptional service to members and guests. The Banquet Bartender plays a key role in event success by maintaining professionalism, adhering to Club standards, and executing all bar operations in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).

Requirements

  • Prior bartending experience required
  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes, bar procedures, and beverage presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Service-driven mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional member and guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Banquet or event bartending experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down bar stations according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and event specifications.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using standard recipes and proper procedures.
  • Ensure all bar areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked before, during, and after events.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to members and guests.
  • Interact with guests in a welcoming manner and anticipate beverage needs during events.
  • Maintain compliance with all local and state laws and Club policies regarding alcohol service.
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
  • Coordinate with banquet staff and management to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of bar inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Assist with transporting bar supplies, glassware, and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety in all service areas.
  • Communicate any guest concerns or operational issues to management promptly.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Events Director or Food & Beverage Management.
