In this role, you will play a key part in creating outstanding guest experiences by delivering exceptional beverage service for banquets, meetings, and special events. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to responsible service directly impact the success of each event and the satisfaction of every guest.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced event environments.
  • High level of attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Working knowledge of bar equipment, drink preparation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • High-volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, attentive, and professional beverage service in banquet and event settings.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up, stock, maintain, and break down banquet bar stations based on event needs and BEOs.
  • Ensure bar areas remain clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout events.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
  • Verify guest identification and comply with all New Mexico alcohol service laws.
  • Communicate effectively with banquet teams, kitchen staff, and leadership to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Process guest orders accurately and efficiently during high-volume events.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold company service, safety, and sanitation standards.
