About The Position

Responsible for the set-up and service of assigned banquet bar or hospitality functions in accordance with resort policies and quality/safety standards. The goal is to obtain optimum guest satisfaction, promote return business and maximize profitability.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Receive beverage assignments to set-up, service and clean.
  • Operate a company vehicle and/or golf cart for the purpose of bar location and set-up.
  • Adhere to hotel/resort standards and state/local regulations, and identify and correct potential problems.
  • Greet guests, reiterate service details and receive and execute any last minute instructions.
  • Follow all beverage service standards, including recipes and proper amounts.
  • Take corrective action if necessary to ensure success of function.
  • Review BEOs of assigned functions prior to function to ensure accuracy.
  • Stock bars with an appropriate amount to ensure continued guest satisfaction.
  • Check with assistant banquet manager on any up selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable bar area for overall appearance and guest satisfaction.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Maintain proper cash controls.
  • Follow established bar breakdown procedures.
  • Complete all required records and consumption reports.
  • Maintain storage area levels and cleanliness.
  • Follow proper grooming and dress standards set forth by the Employee Handbook.
  • Maintain good rapport with fellow employees and reflect a positive attitude.
  • Report to work on time, in uniform and with proper tool.
  • Complete all assignments requested of you.
  • Maintain a high standard of sanitation and safety.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of own area.
  • Maintain open line of communication with supervisor.
  • Adhere to resort policy and State mandated laws as they apply to the sale of alcoholic beverages.
  • Understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort.
