About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Banquet Bartender/Server. Responsibilities include preparing and serving drinks, handling payments, maintaining bar cleanliness and presentation, garnishing drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role also involves assisting with event setup, serving food and beverages, and cleaning up after events. A comprehensive knowledge of menu items and beverages is required, along with adherence to health, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. The position requires physical stamina for lifting, pushing, bending, and stooping.

Requirements

Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
Relevant training and experience required.
Ability to obtain required alcohol server certificate.

Nice To Haves

High school education preferred.

Responsibilities

Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques
Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.
Collect money for drinks and food served.
Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.
Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.
Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures.
Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning and
Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.
Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed.
Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management.
Maintain health and sanitation standards.
Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages
Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation
Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions
