About The Position

The Banquet Attendant is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Banquets Department is involved in planning, setting up and executing events to the breakdown of the room so events happen again the next day – or even the next hour. From arranging the set up of tables and chairs to providing meeting materials and flipcharts to cleaning and vacuuming, the Banquet Attendant is a part of every detail.

Requirements

• High level of attention to detail
• Strong work ethic
• Good communication skills
• High level of physical mobility
• Ability to continuously stand for the majority of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs
• Positive attitude and a can-do approach to any task
• Available on an on-call, casual basis
• Smart Serve certification
• Legal work authorization in Canada

Nice To Haves

• 2 years previous Banquet Attendant experience in a fast paced Food and Beverage operation
• Command of English language and personal confidence
• Additional language
