About The Position

This role is within the Banking Services Operations team, specifically focusing on IPDS Document Imaging. The primary responsibilities include receiving and preparing documents for imaging, assisting with validation processes completed by an offshore team, and responding to inquiries related to scanning and mail opening. The position also involves assisting with simple training activities, responding to routine requests, and understanding and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls. The associate will identify risk-related issues needing escalation, promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand, and maintain M&T internal control standards. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
A minimum of 1 years’ work experience
Proven data entry skills
Proven personal computer skills

Nice To Haves

Some post high school education
Minimum of 2 years’ work experience
Minimum of 2 years’ banking experience within an operations unit or the department

Responsibilities

Receive and prepare documents for imaging.
Assist with the validation process completed by the offshore team as needed.
Assist in responding to scanning and mail opening questions.
Assist with simple training activities.
Respond to routine requests.
Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
Complete other related duties as assigned.
