About The Position

CIBC is building a relationship-oriented bank and is seeking talented, passionate professionals dedicated to client success. As a Banking Centre Leader within the Personal and Business Banking Team, you will lead a team of high-performing financial services professionals focused on delivering an exceptional client experience. This role involves hiring, developing, and coaching your team to inspire their best performance. You are expected to operate with an ownership mindset, helping clients and team members succeed, driving appropriate revenue growth, and taking accountability for results. You will play a crucial role in assisting new and existing clients with securing their financial futures, home ownership, and business development. The position requires flexibility to work banking centre hours, which may include evenings and weekends, and the ability to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance. This is a full-time, on-site role.

  • Completed any of the following: Branch Compliance Officer’s Course (BCO), Branch Managers Examination Course (BME), Conducts & Practices Handbook (CPH) Wealth Management Essentials (WME); or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

  • Work as one team with all partners to maximize market opportunities, and increase the Banking Centre’s overall performance.
  • Manage and minimize risk to safeguard our bank, clients and shareholders.
  • Lead and coach a high performing team of Leaders, Advisors, and Representatives.
  • Provide meaningful development opportunities for employees.
  • Advocate for CIBC within the community to recruit employees who share and demonstrate our values.
