About The Position

This Summer Internship Program in Investment Banking offers participants the opportunity to engage in the day-to-day activities of the investment banking division. Interns will gain broad exposure to various clients, transactions, and specialist areas. The program focuses on providing a comprehensive business overview through real projects, immediate responsibility, and guidance from a mentor and line manager. It is a 10-week journey designed for students in their penultimate year of university to build skills, expand knowledge, and explore career opportunities in finance and technology.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an MBA degree.
  • Graduating between December 2027 - June 2028.
  • GPA of 3.2 or above.
  • Keen interest in business and finance.
  • Curiosity to learn.
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit (potentially through extracurricular activities).

Responsibilities

  • Collaboration on live deals and client pitches.
  • Support the team in advising a broad range of corporate clients, delivering structured solutions to meet client goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
  • Participate in training and development programs.
  • Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage the deployment of new products and services for investment banking.
  • Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, responding to inquiries and processing transactions.
  • Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision-making.
  • Understand business operations and learn from industry experts.
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Consult on complex issues and advise People Leaders on escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures for control and governance.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls.
  • Perform work that requires understanding of how different areas coordinate to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other business-aligned support areas to stay informed about business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively.
  • Communicate complex information, including sensitive or difficult-to-convey content.
