About The Position

TEKsystems is currently hiring a Bank Teller to start with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution! This role involves providing members and prospective members with a full range of products and services, including depository accounts, lending products, and credit/debit cards. The Bank Teller will perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision, analyze and resolve account discrepancies, assist members with loan and credit card applications, and counsel members on company products and services. Additionally, the role requires ensuring proper handling of cash and negotiable instruments, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and performing platform banking functions.

Requirements

1-3 years of cash handling experience in in-person customer service, retail, and banking industry.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone and via email.
High School Diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

Bank Teller experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services offered by the client including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards.
Perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision.
Analyze, research and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration.
Perform platform banking functions.
