This position serves and travels as examiner-in-charge, or works independently under the direction of an examiner-in-charge, to ensure the timely, organized, and efficient completion of the examination process. This includes the most complex and problem bank, corporate fiduciary, data processing centers, and/or service providers examinations assigned to the Banks, Trust Companies and Savings Institutions Section in the Division of Banking. The role involves gathering information, analyzing and evaluating the financial condition of banks and corporate fiduciaries, as well as all forms of lending including real estate, installment, and commercial loans, letters of credit, and direct lease financing. The examiner will read corporate minutes and by-laws, conduct meetings with licensed institution's management and the board of directors to discuss examination findings, and complete examination report pages and supporting work papers. These reports document the examination process and conclusions regarding the financial condition, compliance with policies and procedures, adherence to safe and sound practices, and compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
