About The Position

Cennox is seeking an experienced Commercial Alarm Bank Technician for its Electronic Security division in Norfolk, Virginia. The role involves inspections and maintenance on security systems and ATM equipment, as well as scheduled surveys, project work, cleanings, signage updates, and minor refurbishments. Requirements

• Be tech-savvy, have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and be eager to learn new skills.
• Work independently, reliably meet deadlines, and require minimal supervision.
• Have strong communication and customer service skills and be able to interpret and execute written instructions.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have a driving record in good standing.
• Be able to lift or move 50 or more pounds and stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
• Be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and sit or drive for extensive daily travel.
• Have good hand/eye coordination and sharp eyesight.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections and surveys.
• Complete related project work.
• Clean bank equipment, including Automated Teller Machines.
• Update signage and perform minor refurbishments.
• Perform maintenance on security systems and ATM equipment.
