About The Position
The Band Paraeducator will assist the band teacher with various tasks related to music instruction and band operations at Baldwin Middle School. This role involves supporting both large and small group instruction, providing remediation for students, modifying music, maintaining instruments, and assisting with administrative duties such as record-keeping and material distribution.

- Experience working with children

- Knowledge of woodwind, brass, and percussion technique and pedagogy
- Knowledge of music theory
Responsibilities
- Assisting band teacher with large and small group instruction
- Providing remediation for students
- Modifying music for students
- Tuning instruments
- Performing minor band instrument repair and maintenance
- Assisting with record keeping for instrument inventory
- Monitoring school instruments to ensure they are in good playing order
- Assisting with setup for classes
- Copying and distribution of music and materials
