About The Position
As a large equipment operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.
Requirements
- Ability to work with precision instruments.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Received instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations.
- Completes pre-shift daily audit.
- Selects correct sheet type/length based off of daily band schedule.
- Operates Forklift, coil buggy, or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls.
- Adjusts rolls to form correct diameter.
- Feeds band sheet into roll form.
- Spot welds or hand welds various types of fasteners to formed band sheet.
- Paints welds if necessary.
- Moves finished product to designated areas.
- Completes production/quality control paperwork.
- Completes post-shift daily paperwork.
- Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
- Other duties assigned.
