MCHS Marching Band (Woodwind Camp Only)
About The Position
This position serves as an Extra Assistant Instructor for the MCHS Marching Band, specifically for the Woodwind Camp. The instructor will maintain an orderly learning atmosphere and assist the Band Director in running the band program, including reaching yearly goals. Responsibilities include instructing individual participants in necessary skills, evaluating student progress, and providing appropriate instruction. The role also involves assisting the Director in organizing practice sessions, supervising practices and performances, and taking responsibility for equipment. Additionally, the instructor will teach students about citizenship and subject matter as per school district regulations, develop appropriate relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and perform other duties as assigned by the Band Director, Principal, or Superintendent.
Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a G.E.D. as required by Kentucky law.

- Performs related duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned.
