Bakery Product Packager (4am-Noon)
About The Position
Bavarian Inn Restaurant is hiring an early-morning packager for its high-volume, from-scratch production bakery, which produces more than 250,000 loaves of bread and thousands of pastries and specialty baked goods each year. This entry-level opportunity may suit someone interested in pursuing a baking and pastry career; prior production bakery experience is welcome but not required. The position is seasonal, typically scheduled 3–4 days per week for approximately 20–30 hours per week through the holiday season. Shifts are typically 4:00 a.m. to noon, with some variation possible based on production needs. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand and walk for 8 or more hours.
- Must be able to perform continual light-to-moderate lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong math skills are required to calculate packaging needs.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior production bakery experience is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Put the finishing touches on select bakery products.
- Slice bread.

- Label and price items for display.
- Stock the Bakeshop with bakery items before it opens.
