About The Position
The Bakery Clerk position is responsible for providing customers with outstanding customer service, assisting other staff, cleaning and sanitizing the department, operating the bakery scale and industrial mixer, and properly filling and rotating product. The role involves direct customer interaction, stock management, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment within the bakery department.

Responsibilities
- Assists customers
- Stocks and rotates product
- Inspects bakery products for freshness
- Faces merchandise in the department
- Cuts open boxes with a box cutter
- Takes orders
- Builds displays
- Cleans/sanitizes department, back room and cooler/freezer
- Receives deliveries and arranges stock in cooler/freezer
- Prepares and packages product
- Operates the bakery scale and industrial mixer
