As a Storefront Associate, you'll play an important role in creating an outstanding customer experience every day by: Delivering friendly, fast, and memorable customer service. Greeting guests and assisting with product selection. Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately. Preparing coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Assisting with bread merchandising and product presentation. Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment. Working collaboratively with your teammates and store leadership. Following all company policies and Health Department regulations. Cross-training in multiple areas, including: Cashier (POS), Bar, Bread, Cake Arriving on time and ready to work each scheduled shift. Having fun while delivering an exceptional guest experience!
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).
- Moderate physical activity.
- Sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
- Nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
- May be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.
