About The Position

Provides operational support and assists in the supervision of employees in a large, high-volume, centralized bakery that services a university franchised Dunkin Donuts as well as other Dining Services' facilities. Responsibilities include coordination of food production, supervision, quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction, safety and sanitation, and the use of an automated food management system. Assists with inventory management including weekly inventories, stock rotation, receipt of goods, storage, packing and shipping of products.

Requirements

  • Previous experience and knowledge of supervision principles
  • Previous experience and knowledge of baking
  • Previous experience and knowledge of food service production
  • Previous experience and knowledge of large quantity cooking using standard recipes and procedures
  • Experience operating general and commercial kitchen equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • Knowledge of food sanitation
  • Ability to communicate
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to measure and perform basic math functions
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using computers including Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and automated food management systems
