About The Position
This is a full-time seasonal role beginning August 2026. The starting wage for this role is $17.50/hour. Requirements
- 1-2 years of baking, pastry, or food production experience required.
- Knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and workplace safety.
- Positive attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple operational areas as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Culinary, baking, or patisserie training is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Bake and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods for the dining room, employee dining room, and coffee shop.
- Assist in developing and producing feature desserts and pastry specials for food and beverage outlets.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of baking stations, equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Identify and report maintenance, equipment, and safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Support banquet, conference, meeting, and special event operations as required.
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests and teammates.
- Contribute wherever needed and support overall kitchen and hospitality operations.
