About The Position

The Bagger Relief plays an operational and leadership role on the packaging line, providing support and direction to the bagging team to ensure smooth production. The role is the primary point of contact for issues in the bagger room, troubleshooting operational challenges, assisting with equipment changeovers, and covering outages across shifts. It supports packaging efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards and keeping production lines running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Hands-on experience operating or supporting high-speed bagging, packaging, or manufacturing machinery.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to address equipment downtime or operational disruptions.
• Demonstrated ability to guide and support team members and adapt to varying operational needs and shift coverage.
• Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and workplace safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide hands-on support to the bagger team to maintain target throughput and shift goals.
• Serve as the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving line stoppages, equipment faults, or process deviations in the bagger area.
• Assist with and coordinate safe, efficient packaging changeovers to minimize downtime between product runs.
• Cover operator absences, planned outages, and peak relief windows to ensure continuous line operations.
