About The Position

This opening is for our Lake St. Louis location located at 101 Civic Center Dr, Lake St Louis, MO 63367. Candidate MUST be available between the hours of 8am-5pm. This role is offering 16-20 hours per week. This is not an official description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of a customer service person to include the following:

Requirements

• 18 yrs+ to apply
• Candidate MUST be available between the hours of 8am-5pm.
• Bending
• Stooping
• Must be able to push 3 to 5 carts at a time
• Able to work outside in seasonal weather
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

• minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
• minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Place customers’ purchases into bags
• Place filled bags in cart
• Carry customers purchase to cars
• Retrieve carts from parking lot
• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts
• Stock bags on check stands
• Empty trash from check stands and service center
• Sweep and mop floors
• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management
