About The Position

This role is offering about 16-20 hours per week. Candidates MUST be available between 4pm-10pm and weekends to be considered. This is not an official description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform. You could expect the position of a customer service person to include providing friendly and courteous service to customers, placing customers’ purchases into bags, placing filled bags in carts, carrying customers purchases to cars, retrieving carts from the parking lot, picking up paper and debris in the store, from the parking lot, and from carts, stocking bags on check stands, emptying trash from check stands and service centers, sweeping and mopping floors, returning merchandise left at check-out to shelves, reading and understanding shelf tags, and verifying prices of merchandise. Training will be provided at store level.

Requirements

• Candidates MUST be available between 4pm-10pm and weekends to be considered.
• Must be 16 years or older to apply.
• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Nice To Haves

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers

• Carry customers purchase to cars

• Pick up paper and debris in the store, from parking lot, and from carts

• Return merchandise left at check-out to shelves
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Verify prices of merchandise
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the store management
