About The Position

Packaging Machine Operators are members of the Production line and work as a team to ensure production goals are achieved. The position is scheduled from 5:00PM-5:00AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Requirements

Experience in machine set-up and computers.
Drive, commitment, positive attitude, and high energy.
Must know how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.
Must be a self-starter.
Good people and communication skills: must be able to communicate well with all departments.
Must be a team player.
The ability to read and understand written instructions.
Hands-on problem solver
Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Conduct Foil roll and Bundler roll changes as needed.
Keep bagger and bundler deck in proper condition and ensure baggers are and bundlers are adequately supplied.
Remove and store excess bag rolls or bundler rolls in order to maintain a safe work area.
Re-wrap undamaged product and properly report and dispose of damaged/faulty product.
Maintain proper inventory of labels.
Locate and correct all improperly labeled product.
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
