The Bag Line Operator at the Wayland location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Operate the bagger system and maintain the system as required to sustain production. Operate Labeler, checkweigher, and robot bag stacker. Inspect, clean, efficiently operate, start-up, shut down, changeover, make minor adjustments on assigned equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting on assigned equipment to ensure efficient production of products as scheduled. Ensure all materials required to run the line remain stocked. Utilize appropriate material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc. in accordance with their SOPs. Perform associated continuous improvement activities. Assist in the training of other team members as needed. Must be able to operate lift trucks in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to read a production schedule and supply components and ingredients to the proper workstations without interruptions to production. Must be able to keep accurate and legible records. Must be able to keep up speed to keep Bag Line in operation. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess basic computer skills and possess willingness and aptitude to learn. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, foods safety programs and all other policies established by TreeHouse Foods. Maintain Quality packaging for the customer. Ensure lot codes are followed. All employees are responsible for the quality and food safety of all products produced in the facility. Perform other duties as assigned.
