About The Position

The Part Time Backroom Associate is responsible for helping deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports merchandise processing, store recovery, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

Role-model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
