About The Position

This specific position is for contractors residing in Brazil, with compensation in Brazilian Reais (R$). The company cannot sponsor visas. Resumes must be submitted in English as a PDF. The Backend Engineer will build high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications as part of a talented team working on mission-critical applications.

5+ years of experience with Python.
Familiar with relational database concepts.
Familiarity with Postman and how to make API calls.
Familiar with NoSQL databases.
Experience with or knowledge of REST API development and deployment.
Experience with or knowledge of JSON modeling and usage.
Experience with or knowledge of querying and modeling using a relational data store.
Experience with or knowledge of using package managers such as npm or pip.
Experience with or knowledge of using Git for source control.
Experience in TDD and/or BDD.
Strives to enhance project test coverage.

Responsibilities
