About The Position
The Back of House Supervisor at the National Geographic Museum is responsible for overseeing hourly associates to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. This role involves assisting with product ordering and inventory, managing product and labor costs within budget, and training staff. The supervisor is also tasked with maintaining efficient service during peak hours and adhering to sanitation and safety principles in food and equipment handling. Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Assists in ordering and keeping inventory of products.
- Maintains product cost and labor cost according to budget.
- Supervises and trains hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are implemented.
- Maintains consistent, efficient service during peak hours.
- Follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
