About The Position

This role is for a Back-End (+RPA) Developer with a Korean IT Consulting Company, client is Samsung. The position is located in Plano, TX, and requires an onsite working style. It is a 1-year contract position with W-2 employment type. The salary is up to $45 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). The working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00. Fluent English is required, and Korean language skills are preferred. Visa support is not provided.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in web-based system development
  • Strong experience with Java or other programming languages (Python, etc.)
  • Experience developing or maintaining intranet systems
  • Fluent English communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience with Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL procedures

Nice To Haves

  • RPA experience or understanding is a plus
  • Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSON, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
  • Korean/English bilingual ability is a plus (not mandatory)

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients (Samsung) to assess and analyze requirements for automation solutions (RPA) and development tasks
  • Lead and guide developers as a senior developer/technical lead
  • Develop and support RPA operations, along with traditional application/module development
  • Manage the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, documentation
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and modules with clean, efficient code
  • Plan, prioritize, test, and manage releases using Agile methodologies
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Monitor and support ongoing RPA operations delivered to customers; troubleshoot and enhance solutions
  • Collaborate with customers and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions
  • Implement automated testing, debug issues, troubleshoot complex problems
  • Participate in internal/external meetings to gather business requirements and propose solutions
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend best practices
  • Write unit, integration, and production test scenarios
  • Optimize application performance through troubleshooting and debugging
  • Identify and plan new features with the development team
  • Ensure compliance with Samsung SDS quality assurance standards
  • Research and recommend new technologies, applications, and protocols
  • Create detailed technical plans for project execution
  • Provide technical guidance, answer questions, and remove obstacles for the team
  • Report development progress clearly and transparently
