About The Position

This is a 1-year contract, full-time, on-site position for a Back-End Developer with a pay rate of approximately $8,680 per month, depending on experience. Korean bilingual skills are highly preferred. The role requires communication with clients to assess and analyze requirements for automation solutions (RPA). As a senior developer/technical lead, the individual will manage and guide other developers. The primary focus will be on RPA development and operation support, with additional involvement in traditional program development and application module development. Responsibilities span the entire development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. Strong problem-finding skills and quick adaptation to existing application structures are essential.

Requirements

  • +7 years in web-based related system development.
  • Experience with Java (or other programming languages like Python).
  • Experience in developing or maintaining intranet systems.
  • Fluent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSon, Java Script, AJAX.
  • Experience with Oracle database server, SQL, PL/SQL procedures.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to create software design and engineering documents.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn, excel, and deliver at a quick pace.

Nice To Haves

  • Good understanding or experience in RPA.
  • Experience in data analytic (ex: Alteryx) & visualization tool (ex: Tableau, Power BI).
  • BS/BA or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Korea/English Bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to assess and analyze requirements for design/development via automation solution (RPA).
  • Manage, guide, and mentor junior developers as a senior developer/technical lead.
  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable applications and modules, writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Manage the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, prioritizing, testing, and releases, often using Agile methodologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor and support the ongoing operation of developed programs (RPA) for customers.
  • Resolve issues and enhance current solutions as necessary.
  • Work closely with customers and other engineers to define requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Implement automated testing, debug issues, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure application security and performance.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to gather business requirements and suggest solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements and suggest best practices for application.
  • Write unit, integration, and production test scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot and debug to optimize application performance.
  • Liaise with the development team to identify and plan new features.
  • Ensure developed modules comply with company's quality assurance standards.
  • Research and suggest new technologies, applications, and protocols.
  • Create detailed technical plans for project execution and implementation.
  • Be available to answer technical questions, provide clarifications, and clear obstacles for the team.
  • Maintain transparency with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
  • Write development progress reports.
