About The Position

This role involves developing and supporting Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, alongside traditional application/module development. The developer will manage the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, managing releases using Agile methodologies, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. The position also requires monitoring and supporting ongoing RPA operations, troubleshooting, and collaborating with customers and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions. The developer will implement automated testing, debug issues, and participate in meetings to gather business requirements and propose solutions, ensuring compliance with quality assurance standards and researching new technologies.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in web-based system development
Strong experience with Java or other programming languages (Python, etc.)
Experience developing or maintaining intranet systems
Fluent English communication skills (verbal & written)
Experience with Oracle DB, SQL, PL/SQL procedures
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Goal-oriented mindset with strong self-motivation
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Quick learning ability and adaptability

Nice To Haves

RPA experience or understanding is a plus
Experience with HTML/DHTML, jQuery/JSON, JavaScript, AJAX
Preferred: Experience with data analytics tools (Alteryx) and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
Preferred: BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
Korean/English bilingual ability is a plus (not mandatory)

Responsibilities

Communicate with clients (Samsung) to assess and analyze requirements for automation solutions (RPA) and development tasks
Lead and guide developers as a senior developer/technical lead
Develop and support RPA operations, along with traditional application/module development
Manage the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, analysis, coding, testing, documentation
Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and modules with clean, efficient code
Plan, prioritize, test, and manage releases using Agile methodologies
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Monitor and support ongoing RPA operations delivered to customers; troubleshoot and enhance solutions
Collaborate with customers and engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions
Implement automated testing, debug issues, troubleshoot complex problems
Participate in internal/external meetings to gather business requirements and propose solutions
Analyze business requirements and recommend best practices
Write unit, integration, and production test scenarios
Optimize application performance through troubleshooting and debugging
Identify and plan new features with the development team
Ensure compliance with Samsung SDS quality assurance standards
Research and recommend new technologies, applications, and protocols
Create detailed technical plans for project execution
Provide technical guidance, answer questions, and remove obstacles for the team
Report development progress clearly and transparently
