Back-End Node Developer
About The Position
Booz Allen is seeking an experienced back-end developer to help identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient, effective systems for clients. The developer will work with a development team to build custom tools, systems, and sites using current architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools, with a focus on consistent performance and scalability. The role offers the opportunity to make a mission-forward impact while developing skills and advancing a career. The position is hybrid and based in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Applicants must hold a Secret clearance and complete a required skills assessment that meets the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process. Selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience with Node Express back-end development.
- Experience with Node.js and modern TypeScript practices.
- Experience with database design, including MongoDB or SQL.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Complete the required skills assessment and meet its minimum proficiency threshold.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Keycloak.
- Experience programming with modern JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS, React, or Angular.
- Experience with NGINX.
- Experience with Bash scripting.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree.
- Security+ certification.
