About The Position

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you will contribute to developing user-focused systems for clients by identifying potential risks, supporting solution development, and building efficient and effective systems. You will use current architectural approaches, open-source frameworks, and tools to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. You will work with a development team and have the opportunity to expand your skills and career while contributing to mission-focused work.

Candidates must complete Booz Allen’s required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Node Express back-end development.
• Experience with Node.js and modern TypeScript practices.
• Experience with database design, including MongoDB or SQL.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Keycloak.
• Experience programming in modern JavaScript frameworks such as VueJS, React, or Angular.
• Experience with NGINX.
• Experience with Bash scripting.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Master’s degree.
• Security+ certification.
