Requirements

Self-motivated with an assertive drive and the ability to work independently for most of the shift.
Knowledge of Class 8 Truck parts.
At least one year of experience in parts sales or as a diesel technician.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers via telephone and in person.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Above-average organizational skills.
Cash handling experience.
Ability to lift heavy items, sometimes over 100lbs, and often over 40lbs.
Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts (training available).

Nice To Haves

Experience with ECAT or a similar program.
Knowledge of parts inventory.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Service Department to ensure high-level parts support.
Research, source, and price parts for service repairs.
Identify parts needs using literature, computer programs, and product knowledge.
Pull and stage parts for service technicians and customers.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and parts pricing.
Accurately and promptly complete all necessary transaction paperwork.
Provide backup support for front counter parts members, including responding to customer inquiries via phone and in-person, and providing quotes or estimates.
Process credits, make adjustments, and monitor restocking charges for parts sales.
Perform assigned shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties.
