Requirements
- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or a related caregiving role preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong references
- Patient, nurturing, and genuinely passionate about working with children
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills with parents and guardians
- Must be located in or able to commute to Long Island, NY
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and educational play
- Prepare light meals and snacks while adhering to any dietary needs or restrictions
- Assist with homework, reading, and developmentally enriching activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for children
- Follow daily routines including nap times, bedtime schedules, and hygiene habits
- Communicate openly and professionally with parents regarding the child's day and any concerns
