The impact you'll make: The B2B Supply Chain Specialist supports the execution of customer supply chain activities for assigned B2B retail and corporate sales accounts. This role focuses on accurate order management, forecast support, and day-to-day coordination to ensure high service levels, on-time delivery, and compliance with customer requirements. Acting as an operational point of contact, the Specialist works closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution, Logistics, and Customer Operations to support on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance and resolve execution issues, escalating risks as needed. All Saje team members are responsible for contributing to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in customer supply chain, customer operations, order management, or a related supply chain role
  • Experience supporting B2B retail customers within CPG, personal care, beauty, or similar consumer products environments
  • Working knowledge of retailer compliance requirements and service level expectations
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic analysis)
  • Familiarity with EDI transactions, ASNs, and customer scorecards
  • Strong execution, follow-up, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Clear communicator who works well across functions and with external partners

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting specialty, wholesale, or omnichannel retail customers is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Execute the full order lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, including order validation, entry, allocation support, and shipment tracking
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately according to item setup, lead times, pack configurations, and customer-specific requirements
  • Monitor open orders and proactively flag risks related to inventory availability, production timing, or transportation constraints
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external customer contacts regarding order status and execution issues
  • Maintain a high level of detail and accuracy across all customer order activities
  • Review customer forecasts, replenishment signals, and order trends to support demand alignment activities
  • Assist with updates related to promotions, seasonal demand, and new item introductions
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to help align customer demand with available supply
  • Identify and escalate forecast variances, unusual order patterns, or demand risks in a timely manner
  • Support compliance with customer routing guides, labeling requirements, ASN processes, and delivery windows
  • Track shortages, backorders, and chargebacks related to execution or compliance issues
  • Assist with monitoring customer service KPIs such as OTIF, fill rate, and order accuracy
  • Support root cause identification for service issues and contribute to corrective action discussions
  • Serve as an operational contact for customer-related supply and order execution issues
  • Coordinate internally with Supply Planning, Distribution, Logistics, QA/QC, and Customer Operations to resolve order discrepancies, quality holds, or delayed shipments
  • Support new product launches by assisting with item setup, initial order readiness, and on-time launch execution
  • Maintain accurate customer, item, and order data within ERP and related systems
  • Prepare routine customer supply reports and internal status updates
  • Support data accuracy and documentation to ensure reliable customer execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring execution issues and process gaps
