About The Position

The B&W Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the black and white production processes within our facility, ensuring that all operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This position is responsible for managing a team of technicians and operators, coordinating workflow, and maintaining equipment to optimize output. The supervisor will implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. They will also serve as a key liaison between management and production staff, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of issues. Ultimately, the B&W Supervisor ensures that all black and white production activities align with company goals and regulatory requirements, contributing to overall operational success.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in production or manufacturing preferred.
Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of black and white production processes and related equipment.
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and quality control standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills daily to manage and motivate their team, ensuring clear understanding of production goals and safety protocols.
Technical skills are essential for overseeing equipment operation, diagnosing issues, and coordinating maintenance activities to maintain continuous production flow.
Analytical skills are applied to monitor production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements that enhance quality and reduce costs.
Organizational skills enable effective scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Problem-solving abilities are critical for addressing operational challenges promptly and maintaining a productive work environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Management, or related field.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
Previous experience in a supervisory role specifically within black and white or photographic production.
Certification in safety management or production supervision.
