About The Position
Busy BMW of Pembroke Pines has an opportunity for an automotive technician to join Holman. The technician services and repairs vehicles assigned by the Service Manager, following dealership and factory standards. The role requires diagnosing malfunctions, performing repairs, keeping current with automotive diagnostic technology and reference materials, maintaining a clean shop and accounting for dealership tools, road-testing repaired vehicles, and adapting to changes in automotive and diagnostic technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of dealer-level or large-facility experience.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to undergo and satisfy background requirements.
Nice To Haves
- BMW/MINI certification is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive diagnosis technology, digital manuals, and reference materials.
- Keep the shop area neat and clean and account for dealership tools at all times.
- Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
- Adapt to rapidly changing automotive and diagnostic technologies.
