About The Position

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. is seeking certified Journeyman B-Pressure Welders to join their Fabrication department in SE Calgary. This is a direct employment opportunity, not open to independent contractors. The role involves pressure pipe welding, with positions available for both Weekday and Weekend Shifts. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, take pride in high-quality welds, interpret blueprints accurately, and maintain a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Requirements

• Journeyman Certification
• Alberta B-Pressure certificate
• CSTS-20/CSO & WHMIS 2015
• Pipe welding and fitting experience using wire & flux
• Pipefitting and tacking experience
• GMAW, FCAW Experience and Roll Welding
• Oil and gas experience required
