About The Position

This is a Platform Engineering position focused primarily on the Azure cloud environment. The engineer creates infrastructure in Azure CSP using Terraform and Azure DevOps (ADO), and builds infrastructure-as-code pipelines using GitLab runners. The role works with application teams to understand ad hoc requirements, troubleshoot platform issues, and implement changes. It also includes supporting weekly releases during non-business hours.

Requirements

12 years of experience.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure resources.
Hands-on experience with Ansible, Azure, Azure DevOps, GitLab runners, Azure VMs, Azure Image Services, and Terraform.
Good knowledge of creating Jira tasks and ServiceNow change requests.
Hands-on experience creating and troubleshooting the listed Azure services and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Create infrastructure in Azure CSP using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
Create infrastructure-as-code pipelines using GitLab runners and convert ADO pipelines into Terraform IAC pipelines.
Work with application teams to understand ad hoc requirements, troubleshoot existing platform issues, and implement changes.
Create and troubleshoot Azure Data Factory, VNets, route tables, NSGs, Purview, Azure Storage, application contexts, AKV, and subscriptions.
Build custom VM images using Packer.
Deploy and troubleshoot Azure Windows and Linux VMs, scale sets, and load balancers.
Deploy and troubleshoot App Services, Function Apps, and Azure Automation accounts.
Support weekly releases during non-business hours.
Create Jira tasks and ServiceNow change requests.
