About The Position
Fortigo is seeking hardworking, self-motivated AZ Owner Operators for a Day Cab position, parking in Vaughan, Ontario. As an extension of our customers, you will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and on-time delivery of goods throughout Southern Ontario. This role requires an Android phone for the Fortigo app to receive assignments and provide updates. The start time is between 4 am and 7 am, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Clean abstracts and criminal search required
- 3 years of AZ experience
- 2016 or newer tractor
- Day Cab
- Minimal tailgate delivery
- Minimal hand-bombing
- Android phone that supports the Fortigo app
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver throughout Southern Ontario
- Secure load, load and unload freight
- Update the Fortigo app throughout the day
- Scan freight
- Complete paperwork
- Communicate daily with Dispatch regarding progress, problems, and resolutions
