About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring customers have continuous access to the innovation they rely on. This role is within the Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement (ISCaP) organization, which focuses on sourcing, building, and maintaining socially responsible data center supply chains. The position involves managing a complex semiconductor supply chain with multiple products, collaborating with internal and external cross-functional teams to achieve continuity of supply and cost goals. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Strong analytical capabilities, program management experience, deep data analysis skills, excellent writing abilities, and the capacity to lead executive-level reviews are essential. The role requires clear and effective communication at all levels, both written and verbal. The candidate should actively contribute with a strong curiosity to understand the business end-to-end and use data to influence decision-making.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations experience
  • 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations

  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact our supply chain.
  • Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities.
  • Responsible for maintaining continuity of supply for the categories and/or components they manage.
  • Develop clear action plans to drive global supply availability and execute on supply chain strategies.
  • Lead internal engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering, NPI, Logistics, Planning and Business organizations while engaging closely with suppliers on supply monitoring and status.
  • Manage supplier relationships and communication, track orders and inventory levels, process purchase orders, ensure timely delivery, coordinate material requirements with internal teams, maintain accurate procurement documentation, and lead cross-functional initiatives while ensuring timely delivery and quality standards across global operations.
