Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage demand and supply planning activities for service spare parts to support customer and business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts and inventory plans using planning systems and analytical tools.
  • Monitor service spare parts inventory levels and recommend actions to optimize inventory performance.
  • Lead inventory optimization activities, including rebalancing and proactive redeployment of service spare parts across the global service network.
  • Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory and service levels while balancing operational and financial objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory utilization, availability, and overall network health.
  • Own the management of excess and obsolete service spare parts inventory, driving redeployment, disposition, and inventory reduction strategies that optimize working capital while maintaining service requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end service spare parts planning throughout the product lifecycle, including new product introductions, sustaining support, service transitions, and end-of-service activities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop spare parts strategies that align inventory, forecasting, and deployment plans with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate service spare parts supply risks associated with product launches, lifecycle changes, and obsolescence events.
  • Ensure continuity of service spare parts availability through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to support reverse logistics strategies and processes for service spare parts and service assets.
  • Own U.S. reverse logistics operations, ensuring timely return, processing, disposition, and redeployment of service inventory and assets.
  • Collaborate with Service, Repair Operations, Distribution, and Supply Chain teams to optimize reverse material flows and inventory recovery.
  • Drive initiatives that maximize asset recovery, inventory utilization, and spare parts availability while minimizing excess inventory and operational costs.
  • Develop and monitor metrics that measure reverse logistics performance, recovery effectiveness, and inventory disposition outcomes.
  • Identify and manage service spare parts shortages, inventory constraints, and supply risks.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement recovery plans when supply issues arise.
  • Support fulfillment and operational teams to ensure timely availability of service spare parts.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Support cost savings and operational efficiency initiatives across the service spare parts supply chain.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities that reduce costs while maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.
  • Support repair, refurbishment, and asset recovery programs to maximize reuse and optimize inventory investment.
  • Monitor program performance and inventory impacts to ensure expected savings are achieved and sustained.
  • Drive actions that minimize savings leakage and maximize value realization from repair, refurbishment, inventory optimization, and other service spare parts cost reduction initiatives.
  • Develop metrics and reporting to measure savings realization and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide proactive communication to field organizations regarding service spare parts shortages, inventory concerns, supply risks, recovery activities, and process changes.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between Supply Chain and operational stakeholders for service spare parts availability and inventory matters.
  • Partner with field service and business leaders to support operational priorities and business objectives.
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders on inventory strategies, supply plans, and service spare parts initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, metrics, performance indicators, and data visualizations.
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve service spare parts supply chain effectiveness.
  • Support implementation, optimization, and adoption of supply chain tools and technologies.
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve business performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service levels, and overall service spare parts supply chain performance.
  • Own the creation, modification, implementation, and maintenance of supply chain processes, workflows, and operating procedures to support evolving business needs and organizational growth.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and projects that drive operational excellence and business results.
  • Promote best practices and standardization across service spare parts supply chain operations.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and planning methodologies that improve organizational effectiveness.
