About The Position

We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake, AWS, PL/SQL, Python, and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Capital Markets, with a solid understanding of financial products, processes, and data flows. This is a long-term contract position based in Dallas, TX, looking for W2 candidates only. No C2C.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development, including data modelling, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or similar data manipulation libraries.
• Proven experience in Capital Markets, with solid understanding of financial products, processes, and data flows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle database, SQL, ETL processes, data warehousing, or data architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and development practices.
• Strong PL/SQL skills.
• Snowflake Data Engineering experience.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with Qlik and Sigma.
• AWS Cloud Capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models, stored procedures, and triggers using PL/SQL.
• Utilize Python, including libraries like pandas and NumPy, for data manipulation and engineering tasks.
• Apply strong PL/SQL skills for complex data engineering solutions.
