SnapSoft Kft.•Seattle, WA

About The Position

SnapSoft is hiring a senior AWS Cloud Architect for its Cloud Migration practice. The role leads the technical delivery of complex cloud migration and modernization engagements for clients across North America, from assessment and mobilization through large-scale migration and modernization. The position is remote in the United States, Brazil, or Argentina and requires daily overlap with Central European Time and North American client hours. Approximately 80% of the role is project delivery and reviewing statements of work (SOWs) and project contracts; the remainder is devoted to practice and operational work. The architect leads distributed teams of US- and Budapest-based engineers, typically guiding teams of 1–4 engineers and maintaining technical roadmaps for 2–3 engagements in parallel. The role reports to an Engineering Manager based in Europe and collaborates with colleagues in AI/ML and Application Development. The position also involves approximately 25% pre-sales work, including discovery, solution design, and co-selling with AWS account teams in North America. The architect represents SnapSoft in client and executive sessions, makes technical design decisions within project scope, handles technical disagreements and scope discussions, and resolves high-risk blockers and escalations, including critical production incidents. They also develop reusable architectural guardrails and components, coach engineers, contribute to technical offerings and accelerators, and support AWS Competency and partner programs. SnapSoft is an AWS Premier Tier Partner and was named AWS Consulting Partner of the Year for CEE in 2026. The company delivers cloud migrations for startups and SMBs across North America and EMEA.
