This position has a term length of 3 years from the date of hire. The Awards Assistant plays a key role in supporting the administration of graduate awards and scholarships, helping deliver programs that recognize and support graduate students' academic excellence. Reporting to the Team Lead, Awards, this position contributes to the administration of more than 700 awards annually and provides administrative and event support to the Graduate Awards and Scholarship Services team. This role coordinates award-related events, supports scholarship competitions, manages inquiries through the Awards team's service portal, and provides exceptional service to students, faculty, and internal partners. The successful candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. As part of the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies, the Awards Assistant contributes to an inclusive, collaborative, and student-centred environment that advances the university's commitments to access, community, and belonging.
