Awake Overnight Counselor - Group Living Environment

About The Position

Riverside Community Care is hiring an Awake Overnight Counselor for its Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) program in a Group Living Environment (GLE). GLEs are safe, comfortable homes where adults can build confidence, skills, and independence with support. The role supports residents on their paths to recovery and self-directed community living, with an emphasis on their strengths, goals, wellness, and potential. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, working Sunday through Wednesday from 9:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The pay rate is $22.01 per hour.

Responsibilities

Partner with residents to help them reach personal goals by providing guidance, education, and daily living support.
Help individuals strengthen their physical and emotional wellness and develop essential life skills.
Encourage self-advocacy, connection, and community involvement through meaningful interactions and supportive coaching.
Collaborate with a team that values mutual learning, respect, and growth.
Create an environment where people feel safe, heard, and encouraged to envision new possibilities for their futures.
