About The Position

This position will be responsible for managing Allied World’s Human Resources systems (ex: Workday), vendors, and services. The role will also be responsible for maintaining HR business processes, implementing new systems, and managing HR operations to align our HR processes to meet business objectives. This includes streamlining current HR transactions and optimizing operations performance to maximize the organization’s continued transition to manager and employee self-service. The role will also work in close collaboration with IT, Finance, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of related work experience, 5+ years in implementing, leading and optimizing Global HCM/HRIS functions, including a strong understanding of HR processes and policies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday, with a track record of leveraging technical expertise to improve processes, configure integrations, and drive system optimization.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze issues and problems systematically, gathering broad and balanced input, drawing sound conclusions, and providing actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, computer science, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business process redesign efforts to align HRIS technology, functionality, and Allied World HR processes.
  • Oversee, implement, and maintain HR system modules to meet specific business requirements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Provide ongoing system maintenance, ensuring the full potential and capability in the configuration of HRIS solutions adheres to best practices, maximizing the HR, manager, and employee experience.
  • Oversee our relationships with key delivery partners and HR suppliers; evaluate vendor performance and assist in contract reviews.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate users on HRIS functionality and best practices.
  • Develop and champion change management activities.
  • Identify and recommend improvements, efficiencies, and troubleshooting around ongoing system processes and programs.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing the annual budget process for the department.
  • Leverage knowledge and expertise of HRIS solutions by continuously monitoring for updates and emerging industry trends to incorporate the latest advancements into solution design that create streamlined and efficient processes and maximize employee experience.
  • Ensure HR systems adhere to internal and external audit, governance, and compliance requirements.
  • Leverage on HRIS functionality to analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, issues and opportunities
